School Uniform and Dress Code
We share a sense of pride when wearing our school uniform. It supports the feeling of community and belonging. The information below sets out our uniform expectations. Please note none of the items need to be branded.
Our school primary colours for uniform are red and grey.
Girls:
- Grey skirts
- Grey dresses
- Grey trousers
- Grey shorts
- Red & white checked dresses
- White blouse / polo t-shirt
- Carlton red jumper or cardigan (these can be purchased from our school reception)
Boys:
- Grey trousers
- Grey shorts
- White shirt / polo t-shirt
- Carlton red jumper or Cardigan (these can be purchased from our school reception)
PE Kits: Outdoor:
- Plain white t-shirt
- Black or navy blue tracksuit
- Trainers
PE Kits: Indoor:
- Plain white t-shirt
- Black or navy blue P.E shorts
- Black school pumps
We request children wear sensible footwear that is suitable to wear at playtimes. We do not allow children in school to wear high heeled shoes or crocs. Additionally, during the summer months, we do not allow flip-flop style footwear as these are not practical or safe for play times.
Here at Carlton, we understand that from time to time children want their ears pierced. We respectfully ask that when this happens, it is done during the summer holidays. When ear-piercing takes place outside the summer holidays, children are asked to cover their ear-piercing with plasters during the healing process. We allow children to wear 'stud' style ear-rings. Children may also wear a watch. No other forms of jewellery are allowed and therefore children will be requested to remove them if worn.
